Delete your Lumi account and data

In the app

• Open Lumi and sign in.
• Open Settings, then Account.
• Tap Delete account, read what happens, and confirm.

If the request can't reach us (for example, you're offline), nothing is deleted and your account stays as it was. Try again when you're connected.

By email

Email pippa.app.general@gmail.com from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account" and the app name (Lumi). We verify the request and process it. A parent or legal guardian of a teen can use the same address to have the teen's information deleted.

What happens

• Your account is closed right away and you are signed out.
• A connected care team loses access right away.
• The data on your phone for this account is erased.
• Your entries and the rest of your data on our servers are permanently erased within 30 days.

Meal photos and AI chat history are kept on your phone, not on our servers. Deleting the account in the app erases them from the phone; deleting the app does too.

Delete some data without deleting your account

You can delete individual entries in Lumi at any time. To ask us to erase specific data from our servers while keeping your account, email pippa.app.general@gmail.com from the address on your account and say what you want removed.

What is kept, and for how long

The law requires us to keep a small record, stored against an internal identifier rather than your name or email:

• Records of data-sharing agreements you signed or ended
• The deletion itself
• Any audit records of care-team access

These are kept for about six years, then deleted.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a Pro subscription. On iPhone, Pro is the Pippa Companions Pro subscription, which covers every program in the Pippa Companions app, so cancel it in your App Store subscription settings. On Android, cancel Lumi Pro in your Google Play subscription settings.
