IBS, IBD AND GUT CONDITIONS
People with IBS, Crohn’s, colitis and other gut conditions are often asked to keep a food and symptom diary so they and their dietitian can look for patterns, sometimes as part of a guided elimination diet like low FODMAP. Symptoms can show up hours later, bathroom details are awkward to write down, and apps that label foods "good" or "bad" or announce your "triggers" can push people into cutting out more than they need to.
Save the meals you have often and log them in one tap, repeat your last meal, or snap a photo. Portion is optional.
Note what you are noticing whenever it happens, with how much if you want to say, so it sits on the timeline next to what you ate.
A bathroom note asks you to pick the closest plain description, from hard to liquid, or just note that you went.
Add what was around it, like stress, short sleep, feeling unwell or travel, so food is not blamed for everything.
Lumi keeps what you noted and never says a food caused a symptom. You review the dates with your clinician or dietitian.
Diagnosis, elimination diets and food decisions belong to your clinician or dietitian. Serious symptoms open your care team’s plan, never a routine note.

Meal photos are kept on your device. If you use food naming, a copy is sent to our AI provider to name the food, and we don't keep it. You can delete your account and data at any time.
We do not sell your data or show ads. Read exactly what we collect in our policies.
